Product Description
Pechauer cues have a stiff hit due to the piloted stainless steel joint. Parts and components, which most cue-makers purchase from outside sources, are crafted in-house to top quality control standards at every step of the handcrafting process. Jerry Pechauer owns his own forest, hand picks all of the woods he uses for his cues and dries all of his woods in his own kiln to ensure quality throughout the construction of each cue. Pechauer cues are produced in smaller quantities, therefore concentrating on quality. Exotic materials are used in making the cues. Pechauer cues have used the same weight screw design with press fit bumper for over 20 years. The weight screws all have a shouldered head, which allows it to go just so far into the butt of the cue. Pechauer weight screws are color-coded. As soon as the bumper is removed you know at a glance which weight screw is in the cue. The bumper is recessed slightly and press fit with 2 pressure points holding it in place. The inlays are all precision fit with no glue lines. The cues have a hand sprayed finish, using 4 coats, sanded between each coat, and polished to a high gloss finish.
Weight Changes - Pechauer cues have a changeable weight system. You can change the weight using a flat head screwdriver. The maximum change is 2 to 3 ounces.
